A very enjoyable meeting on Saturday- plenty of old faces and a good number of new ones too.
We began with a review of the Halfway Between exhibitions- lots of positive feedback had been gained from visitors and good experiences from those who had stewarded.
The next activity was a stamping and printing session on a long length of Merete's hand-dyed fabric before lunch.
The surprise and delight for me after lunch was that the fabric was my thank you present for my time spent in the role as Exhibitions Officer. Thank you everyone - so much nicer than a card. I shall treasure the fabric in my stash and one day it might become a creation of one kind or another! It may be a while as I had just brought the quilt that took 10 years to complete to the 'show and tell'.
