Looking forward to autumn

Hopefully everyone has had a lovely summer. Lots of Thames Valley Contemporary Textiles regulars were at the 2014 Festival of Quilts at the Birmingham NEC. Many had quilts on display in various galleries and displays throughout the show.

Just a few of the highlights (just those I know about - I'm sure there were many more) were Kate Crossley winning the Quilt Creations category with her clock and the launch of Linda Seward's new book 'The Ultimate Guide to Art Quilting' in a gallery which featured a selection of quilts that are in the book.
